We want to create a community and culture of people who are passionate about their health. Our blog is our journey to bring awareness about what is in our personal care products, food, pharmaceuticals and products we use daily that is causing our society to be so sick. We want to empower the community to make the best choices possible in their daily life. When consumers start seeking out companies that produce products that are formulated free of nasty chemicals the paradigm will shift and big corporations will have no other choice than to reconsider their ingredients and formulate better products.
My Story
“I have been in the personal care industry for over 10 years. Working in salons as a cosmetologist and behind the counter in cosmetic sales. I also went through the journey of terminal cancer with my mom, who was diagnosed at age 59 with bone, breast and colon cancer. If you look at the statistics on cancer and so many other illness, the biggest question I find I want to ask is what is causing this epidemic? What continues to speak to me is that our food sources are contaminated, high amounts of sugar, salt, pesticides, GMOs, processed garbage that is marketed as food; to the products we use every day from personal care products to household cleaners are causing these diseases. My goal is to bring awareness to this by educating people. You would be amazed at how little the personal care industry is regulated. It is alarming what is allowed in American products that are not allowed in European products. There are better choices to be made. I began this journey while caring for my mom and the passion grew into wanting to know more and how I can impact my own life and my family’s life. I believe it all starts with awareness and it becomes a lifestyle as your knowledge grows.”
